Inventive kid, sure does not hurt to promote yourself at a young age.

I pulled up the polar express video thinking I would close it out after 30 seconds. I'm embarrassed to say it was quite entertaining. Really good work for a kid.

Not quite as well done the original, but certainly better than the animated version.

Neat idea this kid has. This would be a modern take of some of the promotional contests Lionel had years ago for kids. Someone at Lionel should take note of this.

Starter sets are the bread and butter for Lionel. Polar Express is the biggest selling set in the entire history of Lionel and I would suspect the Thomas line is doing well also. But we seldom hear anything about kids enjoying their first train set. So it was pretty entertaining to see this kid, Trey, having a good time with his trains and doing something both contemporary and creative. Bravo.

And before anyone knocks starter sets, remember, the people who buy them and enjoy help Lionel to make the profits - so that Lionel can make the more expensive high end scale trains that seem to leave quite a few people more unhappy than an enjoyable hobby should.
