i cannot find any g scale mail or baggage cars of Amtrak
do they exist
also somebody needs to make a cabbage unit
or even better an Amtrak p30ch
as you can see i like vintage Amtrak stuff
and it would be cool of those Amtrak mail cars had a man inside to catch a mailbag from the pole

LGB had a large release of Amtrak and I missed most of it. I was out of work when most places were selling it off. Of course you can always build it yourself!
look on largescalecentral.com, there is a guy who is customizing and has a really nice train
I have the round coach ones, and café, might have one of the others, I think these are series 4 or 5, one or 2 came from LGB, when they were located in san diego, think they were run on the LGB layout, I was invited many times to come and see it, but never got up there,
USA Trains made some Mail and Baggage cars as well , but I think there gone now, I have NYC version.

USA Trains never made the streamliner baggage or mail cars in Amtrak paint. Neither did LGB. All LGB ever made was a 50' boxcar painted & lettered in Amtrak that sort of resembled a material handling car although it was slightly bigger than 1:29 scale.
Aristo-Craft made a streamlined Amtrak baggage car in 1:29 scale though it's kind of short.
