I have been trying to limit purchases for the past several months and really need to due to other personal reasons, but if this thing were made I would have a real hard time sitting on the sidelines for this beauty.  It is really a nice paint scheme.   Like Matt said it would go well with the Demo and Evol previous versions.

I would think Lionel will never make another visionline diesel that's my opinion  .. Vision line evos in Lionel's eyes where a failure .. Fan motor and rear light issiue  , hand rail issues , let's not even count the mounting system on the ge evo . Then you got the centipedes .. While most of the visionline steamers where hits. I my self love the visionline es44s but they had to be handeled with care..

ET44 is supposed to be 75’ long, a foot longer than the current GE Evolution. I am not sure if the extra-length requires a longer fuel tank. I am not sure if Lionel would care to capture the extra ¼” on their expensive O-Scale models.

For some positive news, so far, images I had seen for the pre-production & production ET44 do not have the radial trucks only the Hi-Ad trucks. So that should reduce the number of variations for Lionel to make / manage.

These are just my opinion,

Thanks,
