Nothing like a "little" extra smoke! 

I have the first Lionmaster T1 (TMCC/Odyessy). I can't run smoke on any of my locos because I have allergies. John did a great job on your T1. Chuffing smoke is fantastic! Is your Lionmaster T1 the Legacy version?

I need to get an ERR cruise commander in my T1 to get more speed steps. I love the Lionmaster T1. It looks great running on my 072 Fastrack oval.

One of the remaining TMCC steamers -- we're down to just 2 or 3 now -- in my collection is the #5344 Hudson that came with Lionel's re-issue of the 50th Anniversay set (along with 18" Lionel Lines heavyweight cars).  I think I'll check in with John to see when he can give this loco the super-chuff treatment!

This is the original LionMaster T-1 from around 10 years ago.  John also installed LED marker lights in the tender along with the back-up light, so that the markers on always on, but the back-up light only in Reverse.

He offered to add a M.A.R.S. light to the headlight, but I couldn't find any proof that the T-1's had them.

Thanks for the kind words all, I'm almost speechless.   It's fun seeing these things come to life.

I only ask about more smoke as some have gone for the extreme, like the K-Line Mikado that I did a while back.  That sucker looked like it was on fire!

I think Dave's Special Forces locomotive needs an operating cannon, maybe I could equip it with a .22LR action to give it some "bite".

I never imagined that this little project that I started so I could enhance my own upgrades would turn out to be so popular.

Was a few years ago when I was buying Lionel 513* switches for my garage setup.  John had a L/R pair for sale on thebay, and I bought 'em.  I had already gotten several such sets from there, so when John's came in I had a look inside as per usual.  It was immediately obvious that he had great respect, much more than all the other sellers, even for such simple mechanisms.
