When we take our modular layout to a venue that is dusty (case in point, the Chesterfield County Fair last night), we leave the expensive electronics at home. The Lionel 44 tonners are open frame AC motor engine that fit the bill.....but their pulling power can be anemic. So, I decided to MU them. Next week, I'll see what they can do pulling a coal drag.....

Gee, two of those should be able to pull a dozen cars without breaking a sweat! I think I can probably pull more than that with my little K-Line A-5.
