Have any of you actually seen a prewar display in a train shop before the war? Well I have, Lasus Sons 255 Huguenot St, New Rochelle, NY. That is where my father & others bought me all my trains.
Good memories right. We had some pre war stuff around the house but I've only seen pictures of it. My first train a Louis Marx SF f diesel that did a figure 8.

I have a Lionel #199 Display complete except for the two sky backgrounds, cat. #508. I didn't buy a 130 display in my early days of collecting, because it didn't have a train on it.
