Would greatly appreciate some help identifying these parts I am trying to sell for a friend.

My remembrance of PW details is sketchy now at best...

He has two old sets plus some misc stuff (Plasticville, assessories, and an early ZW) among other things.

His original set is a cheapie - No 242 plastic 2-4-2 with a slope back PRR tender (Lionel Lines) and three or four plastic freight cars.

The second he acquired from a friend later consisting of a No 671 PRR Turbine with the short 671 type (no # under tender) tender with the full handrails and whistle. It's heavy.

The cars are good - No 3459 Coal dump, No 2411 die-cast flat, No 2420 searchlight work caboose and a beautiful full excellent No2460 all black Bucyrus Erie crane. All cars have electric couplers with sliders.

The locomotive is beautiful with very few blemishes in the paint and excellent numbers. Tender lettering and all railings are excellent. This is a nice piece.

Haven't had the chance to try any of these out yet.

(If anyone would be interested in any of these items before they hit the bay, please et me know. Have 70+ pieces of good O-31 and 10" straights available plus a pair of 022 switches.)

Haven't seen this Marx control panel before. Any ideas?

This is a separate Whistle controller that came with the prewar Type R 100w Trainmaster transformer

We have one transformer but two controllers. Is fairly heavy for its size - 10.6 oz

 Is this colored plastic unusual?

Had not seen this NO 25 with the odd 'cage' atop the bulb

Any idea what the buttons control?

The first item is for a pair of Marx track switches. They usuallu have a red or black metal box above the operating mechanism.

The second item is a 167 whistle controller. used with mentioned R transformer. Also used with type V and Z transformers.

The 3rd item is a 160 unloading bin. Sometimes made out of marbled plastic made from scrap sprues from other items.

The # 88 button is wired in series with the track for reversing the engine since the R transformer has no reversing button. The # 90 button controls a varity of operating accessories of that peroid.
