I think that the FP45 would be a good candidate because it was used for both passenger and freight service by many railroads in both the primary and secondary market.

The FP45 was only bought new by the Santa Fe and the Milwaukee Road.  There weren't a lot of them to spread around, 14 in total.  I think only the Wisconsin Central had any secondary market FP45's.

F45's were bought new by the Santa Fe, Great Northern and Burlington Northern.  These wound up a little more widespread in the secondary market on the Wisconsin Central, Montana Rail Link, Wisconsin & Southern, Utah Railway, Susquehanna and Transisco Tours.
