How to make MTH Fastrack-compatible supports work with Realtrax?

I recently bought a set of MTH subway supports that were Fastrack compatible. When I bought them, I didn't realize that the brackets on top of the towers were wider than the set of supports I bought back in 2011 or so. Is there any way to make the "Fastrack compatible" supports work with Realtrax?
