Had a little time after returning from Trainstock on Saturday before my shift at work started, so went out on the roof of the building at work to take a look at the construction for the Hudson Yards development around and over the LIRR yards near the Hudson River in NYC.
They're also recladding, or as I prefer to say, reskinning the building where I work. They're putting up temporary walls inside our floor space - as I understand it, and I could be wrong, one to keep cold/snow etc. out, and an interior wall to keep out dust and debris from the office space. Very noisy for now, though.
