I am a digital subscriber and am having issues with Private Messaging.

I bought a digital subscription about a month ago, just so that I could send PMs when needed, but now when I go to send PM's I get the following message more often then it seems that I should:

"You do not have permission to send this member a private message."

I even tried to PM the OGR Webmaster to inform him that I have a duplicate thread that would be best to be deleted, and I got the same message. I have never had this happen in any other forums that I frequent. What am I missing?

You can only PM other Digital Subscribers/Premium Members. If the person you are trying to PM is not a Digital Subscriber, you will get that message.

I have the PM option on my profile turned off. No one can PM me. If you want to report a post, use the <Take Action - Report Topic> feature to take care of that. Or email me.

Similar problem... I joined, became a Digital Subscriber, and want to send a message to a fellow offering something for sale. Can't send a Private Message, can't post to the thread... Is this part of the site not available to me?

Why not eMail the poster directly? If that poster did NOT provide any contact information, either in his personal profile or his "for sale" item, then he is the loser.
