I know york is a pretty big deal.

I don't know about vendors being banned from the show. I know that people have had their membership revoked for shady dealings. The information is published in the National Headquarters News.

The TCA can only mediate / get involved in member to member transactions. I do not think they will mediate a transaction between a business and a member. They do not mediate member to non-member transactions.

I don't think you have very much to worry about. Just use good old fashion common sense in your dealings. I have never had a bad deal at the York Meet.

As long as you do your due dilligence at the time of purchase you'll be fine - ask to open older items marked as new to make sure they are and ask to test engines on the test track.  All in all I don't feel its a big problem at all but issues do occur as they do in any business.

I consider York very safe.  I have been to 69 York shows and consider myself a very observant person.  I like a meet where everyone has a name tag.  Brian said it all.  COMMON SENSE.
