That was a hot item you unfortunately missed. MTH's product locator showed a dozen stores stocking it last summer/fall but once the holidays came they'd all sold out. Last offering I saw for it was early January on ebay with the seller asking $80 for it and it was bought at that price. Good liuck in your search.
Keep a lookout for cheaper billboards that have less popular pictures and add your own. I have three I paid less than $20 for and I have grandkids on two. Cut to size and use sticky dots from your wife's scrapbook supply. You can usually find any image you want online.
You're correct that not many of the buildings were made and since even fewer billboards were made, that made the billboards scarce. When the billboard was released even the larger internet dealers ordered a dozen or fewer while many small LHS just one or two, if any.
BTW, I definitely would say the Allentown shows are no way 3/4 the size of the York shows, but best of luck if you search for it there.
30thStreet,
I got lucky on this one back in 2012. I hope you find it!
J Daddy,
I still love the humor of the old days! I have been picking up some of the Stooges DVDs. I can't wait to get done with this tour and be at home.
