I'd definitely get one, a boxcar too if made. Always liked the Indian logo.

I'd be more interested in a boxcar (preferably a double-sheathed wood car) than a tank car. Since it's a fantasy item it doesn't really matter, I suppose, but I think a boxcar makes a better billboard than a tank car, especially for an item that is shipped in a boxcar rather than a tank car. A boxcar full of Indian motorcycles is a better fantasy than an advertising tank car. Now that I know the decals are available, I might just order a set with my Green Bay & Western decals. I have a few undecorated cars that might look good with the Indian logo. 

 

For billboard tank cars, I like the ones MTH has made with unusual gasoline and oil company logos, like Panther Gasoline, Buffalo Gasoline, Aristo (Union Oil of Arizona), Nourse, Skelly, Tydol, etc. 

NETCA division of TCA did an Indian Motorcycle boxcar in 2006, Lionel Item 6-52418.

Roughly about 350 made.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for one. I have a Harley-Davidson 6464-style boxcar decorated by an outfit that does a lot of semi-custom Lionel - can't remember the name offhand. 

 

Do you have a photo of the NETCA/Indian car?

  I'd prefer an Indian boxcar. The ones they made in 2006 are pretty expensive if you can find them. I already have a dealership on my layout.

I saw a couple at York last fall, looked really nice but just couldn't pull the trigger on a $150-180 boxcar!

Thanks for posting the picture. That's one nice looking boxcar, but if they are going for that kind of money I'm out. I didn't pay that much for any of my Atlas reefers, and I have several of the really rare ones. I'll get the decals from LBR and make my own - most likely on a scale car. 

A tank car would be cool a box car even better!
