On another site I check in on from time to time, the subject of team tracks came up and one of the posters shared photos of his operation. Again, the versatility of the concept of the public delivery track is readily apparent as we see piping, steel, general merchandise box car traffic and aggregates all being handled utilizing the same siding.

Wonderful photos everyone!!!

I Just got back home from Strasburg.  Great day of trains!! Weather was very fine for this time of year.  Thomas and Percy were pulling trains as well as number 90.  My friend Randy and I took the back shop tour which was great!!

Here is a shot of what was on the Strasburg RR team track and also what was on the Toy Train Museum team tracks today.  IMG_1579IMG_1633Team track Strasburg RR 8/30/16Circus train on team tracks

Sirt you are truly a master of weathering and detailing.  The 212 area code for Staten Island, long since changed to 718, fits the era of that Ford flatbed and GN boxcars.

Thanks Joe. That siding - area is in back of the Harmony Park wedding - catering place near the Advance. Re-built for work train service, the track is still there today but all fenced in by the MTA.
