Thanks for posting this!!! GREAT VIDEO
WOW!
What a documentary. This is awesome!
I m surprised that you did not make a model of the Jet Powered Bud car.
You would need a large straight to open up for 186 MPH scale speed.
Very Impressed.
Thank you for posting it.

I had the Lionel one when it first came out. Always ran it at full speed around the club layout.
Wonderful video. Nice to learn the history behind this famous experiment in US railroad history.
That was great. Thanks for posting the link

Thank you! I enjoyed that.
You are most welcome!
Glad everyone liked it.
Very cool, now there's a model that I'd buy, especially if it had the audio to match!

.... meaning you must have gotten rid of it, Roy? What prompted that... just wondering? I thought this was a pretty cool item when I first saw it, but then wondered what I could do with it as I don't have the space to devote a special course of track just for it.... its kind of like a big motorized unit.

It just did not hold my attention. Like everything else, I sold it for about half of the purchase price. That's my trick to get rid of excess stuff.

I hope it holds my attention; I just bought one! This video pushed me over the edge! Thanks Ron.

John. There is one available on the For sale/trade forum now.
Here is a video of Lionel's version. " Not my video".
