I very rarely come home with what I set out looking for...but I bid the MAXIMUM I had planned...no bargain on this one...this was a well kept collection from LOW HUMIDITY CALIFORNIA, and the condition on most trains resulted in TOP DOLLAR BIDDING!!!  I saw the Collection twice in California on Convention Tours, and the owner, Chuck Stone, gave me a guided tour on Thursday night at the Preview.  All the HEAVY HITTERS were there...tinplate brings out all the deep-pocketed WHITEHAIRS.  I am merely a POOR SILVERFOX!!! Ron,

I'm really happy for you. It's too bad that you have to return to your rolling office next week . I'm watching Stout's coming up toward the middle of May.

The photos that you posted are great. So much so that I had to go to my train room. In my train room I can hug and stroke one of my engines. Maybe whisper a few nothings to it. You know what I'm talking about .
