Guys,

Did you ever model "Kilroy was here" on your tank cars or tanks? It was originally done when John Kilroy a WW II ship inspector inspected ships. It then spread like wildfire and meant that GI's were present. I was wondering whether any of the greatest generation have it proudly displayed on their layouts?

That's pretty neat the first graffitti which consists of two hands and two eyes and  nose draped famously on a wall.

I hate graffiti on my model trains....but seeing this has some history during a difficult time and became a moral booster I have added it to some cars. I drew the 'logo' on my cars by using typewriter (remember those??) correction paper and a fine toothpick. It will stick pretty well with some of it not sticking....perfect for a 'Killroy' that has been riding a car for years.
