Hi Cesar / Wow / Enjoyed watching your last run.  After you move to your new home, you may want to consider building a shelf layout.  There are several articles in all the model train magazines. An excellent reference book would be;

"SHELF LAYOUTS FOR MODEL RAILROADS" by Iain Rice Model Railroad Books, Kalmbach Publishing.  Below is a quick look at my layout.

for more details see; O Gauge Railroading Magazine, Run 278 June / July 2015 • Pages 48 - 53. "Multiple Levels in the Man Cave"

Cesar,  thanks so much for this terrific video of your amazing layout!  I'm so thankful that I was able to see it a couple of years ago and thanks for your hospitality.  The detail, the structures, and the overall effect of this one makes it one of the best. Glad you're going to rebuild, albeit smaller but we have no doubt that it to will be excellent.

Hope the move goes smoothly sir

I had the pleasure of your hospitality during previous York's and a visit to your layout was always a highlight of my trip. You are a great ambassador to the hobby. If you are still in the York area I hope you can continue your open house visits with the new and improved train room. Wish you the best!

Sam

Good (new house) and bad (dismantling work) to hear this Caesar, and I can relate as I am nearly completion of dismantle of my layout for a move into a new build house.

What did you decide to keep and what to throw out?  I tried to keep all my structures and some yards that I had the track down on, but ended up pulling up most of the gargraves as moving sections was not worth the effort.

I burned alot of the wood from the layout so it wouldn't fill up a landfill.
