Well done video Joey, thanks for posting here on the forum.... One quick question, maybe I wasn't listening close enough, but what is the solvent you recommend with the oil base paints and powders ?   Is it turpentine or just the cheap mineral spirits from the big box store ?   Chris A

For solvent based wash, it's just paint thinner with flat enamel paint. Yep, just get the cheap stuff. 

Mixing the chalks into a wet chalk mix, same thing, thinner.
