With the summer months my progress on my layout has slowed. But I did spend the last day or two working on laying pavement on the streets of Coaldale, PA. I used Woodland Scenics "Smooth It" - to my surprise it worked out real well. After laying the initial coat I then sanded it slightly and then used more "smooth it" to fill in gaps and cracks. Right now I'm thinking about color for the pavement. I have seen all different hues on the forum site but would like some feedback on what you think is best (pros/cons). I'm more prone to go to black as it would contrast with the curbs and buildings - ideas anyone??
