LCCA Day in Indianapolis!
The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) celebrated "LCCA Day in Indianapolis" on Wednesday, July 23 at the Marriott East Hotel. Deputy Mayor Deron Kinter from the city of Indianapolis issued a proclamation in recognition of the LCCA commitments to the city. Two local Make-A-Wish children, Jacob & Tyler were designated "Honorary Engineers for the Day" as they took the Lionel LionChief hand held remote control units to start running the Lionel Toy Train operating layouts. Tyler T. of Toledo OH and Jacob S started off the event by starting off "LCCA Day in Indianapolis" with a enthusiastic "All Aboard!" shout out just before they started their Lionel train engines!
