LCS & STM2

Installed two STM2's for 29, 022 switches. All switches are wired thru ASC's which are connected to the SER2. All seems to operate ,  except, when throwing a switch from the ipad the  switch changes direction on the ipad but does not actually throw the switch, and the green sensor led on the STM2 does not blink.

If I use the CAB2 to throw a switch all is well, the green sensor LED blinks and the switch is thrown on the ipad. If I manually turn a switch the ipad is updated or if the derail function is tested it updates the ipad and the green sensor led blinks.

I noticed once I connected the STM2 via the PDI  cable there was no switch activation from the ipad, but the switch  on the ipad did throw.

Anyone else have this issue? Could this be a software issue?

I downloaded the APP again did not correct the issue. I also noticed that the culvert loader & unloader have ceased to work.

I think or I do believe the issue has been identified. I have two STM2's. If I connect one STM2 via PDI cable all normal functions on LCS return and the STM2 is functioning properly. If I switch to the other single STM2 all the problems with the ipad and LCS return. This tells me that the second STM2 is defective. The other remote possibility is that LCS can't handle two STM2's, which I doubt. The defective STM2 has been returned to the vendor for replacement. When I get the replacement that will tell where the problems are.

I received 2 STM2's today.  It will be a while before I can get them installed.  But, I am very interested in your results with a replacement STM2.

I saw in Jon's post that he had experienced the same problem.  Jim, did you get a chance to talk to Jon and find out what the problem was that he experienced?
