I purchased the 20 pc. strips of LED lights that detach and consist of three lights per module. They are the ones with an adhesive back on each module. The lights are very bright and cool in color temperature. I realize that perhaps at one time someone on here recommended a way of changing the color temperature by painting the lights yellow, I believe. I can't locate that post, unfortunately. My query: what did you use to make the color warmer and did it work for you? Thanks...

I use Tamiya "Clear Orange" hobby paint on mine. You can use multiple coats as desired to get anything from an incandescent bulb to a dim kerosene lantern color.

Depending on how many strips you are going to use, it might be easier and quicker just to buy a new reel of LEDs. They come in many colors now, and are pretty cheap if you look around for them.
