I have this loco and love it. But the weirdest thing has happened. The cab light no longer comes on at all. No when sitting still as it should. All functions work fine, smoke, whistle, etc. I am wondering if I hit a button and it went off. I have tried to reset to no avail. I am not sending it to Lionel for this, not that big of a deal. But any help will be great. I thought to try hear as it is Saturday, and I will call Lionel on Monday to see if they can help. Thank You

Thought my cab light was not working as well. Got down and looked in from the back of the cab and the light was working. It just wasn't lighting up the cab. Took a small piece of some aluminum tape and put it on the roof inside the cab hanging down just enough for the light to reflect off of it. Now the cab lights up real nice.

Did you do a reset of the locomotive?

could it be turned off by the cab2? without the 6-number might be hard to tell.

The engine reset from the manual should fix it if that's the case.

Thanks, I will try that and let you know. As I said its not a big deal but would like to figure out the problem.
