I'm a Lehigh Valley modeler and own a copy of the 4-6-2 Black Diamond pacific that Weaver made a few years back.  Its a shame there is not a lot of scale Lehigh Valley steam equipment available in the 3 rail market.

Have any of the 3 rail manufactures made a Lehigh Valley 4-8-4 T-2 Wyoming?  If not, I'm wondering if Sunset models ever looked into doing a model of this?

Well if you can get 20 people or 20 orders of this Locomotive then Sunset will do it. But remember you could be looking at a $1500- $2000 price tag.

Better think triple those quantity numbers, at least!

I think that not so long ago 3rd Rail said they'd do a loco for 50 orders.

Even that is hard to come by unless it's PRR/NYC/ATSF/UP/SP, et al. E.g, I'd like a Reading K1 2-10-2. I doubt there are 49 other folks who would spring for one.

I can only hope that one day Scott may give some consideration in making this engine.

Consideration,,,,,,yes. However, it all comes down to how many reservations/orders he receives. Just like when Scott announced the NYC H9/10b and C&O K-3/K-3a models, some years ago, that "everybody wanted", but never received even HALF enough reservations/orders to begin production.
