Let's see your kit-bashed Beep Locomotives
Replies sorted oldest to newest
I have one, but it's all kit-bashed inside. I added TMCC cruise control, full RailSounds, separately lighted number boards, directional markers, headlights, cab lights, and even a strobe. Does that count?
This was my demo for the beta of the ERR Cruise Commander Lite. I couldn't fit smoke into it, just no more room!

Galley proof -
The Kusan FA2's - now that's an idea...but, what to call them? the RMT EMD Cab-on-Beep
(CoB) locos are named "Beef", so an Alco version would be what?
"BeeFa"? (Beef - Bee + F unit; Beefa - Bee + Fa?.)
Sounds like what I had at Olive Garden last week.

Anyway, I have had friends complain that I run some boxcars with the doors completely open to ventilate, which was done a lot in my layout's era (late steam), but they point out that it reveals our dirty little secret that we are hauling absolutely nothing.
One here that I had made as a special tribute to the TTML (Toy Train Mailing List).
And here is one I had made special for the Providence & Worcester RR.

Here ya go:
I put a fantasy paint scheme on it:
I was going to repaint it into something else, but when I looked at the chassis the areas where the mounts for the gear cover screws are, fell apart in my hand. Now all I have is this shell and a bunch of useless parts.
You never know, I may try my hand a a complete rebuild!
