I have a layout run by transformers, in several "blocks". I am considering getting some LC Plus engines. If I use the power supplies that come with the trains, with the my transformers also providing track voltage (ie adding more power to the track) will I have any problems with phasing--or?

I realize that if I do this,I will not be able to run my conventional engines, unless i disconnect the LC Plus power.

Thanks for any comments--Charlie N

Thanks again. I didn't know that the LC track power stuff was DC. As an old EE (circa 1948)  I think I remember something about AC and DC- not much, but something.

I am a little short of power, so I guess bigger power supplies are on the horizon? Actually I need to get some of my lights, and other stuff, off the track transformers. I have been using the accessory connection on my CW80s, and they are close to max. Blinking blue lights at times.
