How was the speaker fastened on the first generation (2003 or so) Lionel 0-6-0 Docksiders? I've attached the photo from the Lionel Service website, but nothing is shown for attaching the speaker to the frame for either the first generation or second generation Docksiders.

I did, however, find a brand new 610-8790-537 "speaker enclosure" part, but it was first manufactured for a Docksider produced in 2013. Does anyone know if this will fit?

Thanks-

TRW

Bill,

Yup, that's the part they're calling 610-8790-537 from 2013. For some reason, it appears to have existed for ten years (even under other part numbers) without being documented.

The screw bosses are on my frame for the part, so I'll go ahead and order one. I really appreciate the help!

Regards,

Todd

You should really start your own thread as your question about the CW-80 has nothing to do with the Dockside speaker of the OP.
