I'm given a lot of thought about purchasing the Santa Fe Warhorse set to place on display. I was employed on the AT&SF in Dallas, TX from 1968 until my move to Germany in 1977. Of course Santa Fe was dieselized! I ran Lionel trains from the time I received my first set for Christmas 1951 until I sold them in 1962 to finance my entrance into HO scale. No regrets. I am still active. I did not by a Santa Fe warhorse, but I still think it is a neat train set. In fact I saw one for sale in a train store in St. Louis a couple weeks ago. It was brand new and still in an unopened box.
