I also have this series that I purchased a piece at a time off the bay a few years ago. It has been packed away while I moved but I pulled it out and am running it on my new layout.  I think it is a very nice series. The loco runs great and has really good sound and the cars are excellent.  Sure am glad I made the purchases

Hi, "Mike W." did you repaint your Western Union 665 loco ? I ask because mine is brown.

I have the complete Western Union train set. I found a nice addition to this set: K-Line K616-8011 Western (Union) Off-Center Cupola Wood-Sided Caboose. On the side of the caboose it says "CAMP CAR." This car matches the Lionel set nicely.

Take care,

Dick
