Usually there are several on the Bay. You didn't say if you wanted later versions or one with Command Control or what. I've owned several over the years, and the best one (which I currently own) is the no. 18383 version that came with the PWC set, and you can find it separately if you look around. It has TMCC, RailSounds 5, electrocouplers on both ends, crew figures, directional lighting, and a great paint job - using modern painting methods, it doesn't need front decals like previous versions.

Andrew,
I can post a pic when I get home from work after midnight. The engine is on display  all I have to do is find the box to get item # I believe it does have TMCC and electro couplers. I also think it is scale size. Not sure of Lionel's size. After I take pics I will email you my phone number and we can go from there.

The K-Line is scale, larger than the traditional Lionel EP-5. It has six-wheel trucks, the Lionel 4-wheel. The K-Line is 17 inches long, the Lionel is 15 1/4. The K-Line is just a bit wider also, I believe. As to which will work better for you, it depends on the size layout you have, and what you're going to be pulling. K-Line made different versions of some of their EP-5s with different options, some with TMCC and Railsounds, and some without, for example. Not sure if they had different versions of the Great Northern version.

This is what I found from the Kline legacy site.

K2733-5019CC   Great Northern Scale EP-5 (comm w/RS, EC, cruise)
    K-LINE Collector's Club Member Exclusive.

This Scale EP-5 is the most detailed Electric Locomotive ever made. This model is based on the ten EP-5s produced for the New Haven Railroad in the 1950s. Known for its flashy McGuiness paint scheme, these engines are a favorite of Northeastern Railfans. Built from brand new tooling, this new model updates a postwar classic to current levels of expectation. Dual motors with flywheels provides smooth operation and eliminates harsh starts and stops. Details include directional lighting and illuminated number boards. The pantographs on the roof can be wired to accept power from an overhead catenary system.

This command version is loaded with TMCC, RailSounds, Cruise Control and Electrocouplers.

Release Date: Fall 05
