I'm working on restoring a No 38 electric locomotive for a coworker.  It had been poorly repainted several times and somebody had messed with the mechanism somewhat.

The question we have is, what would it have pulled?  I'm somewhat familiar with later prewar stuff, but this is way earlier than anything I've worked on before.

Thanks
