Does anyone know if Lionel is planning to have a warehouse sale in Concord this year, as they have in past years?

Yep. November 4-6 in parts with the LCCA.
November 4-6, 2016 LCCA/Lionel 5th Annual Open House & Warehouse Sale
Lionel has graciously invited all LCCA members and their RCCA members (Racing Collectibles Club of America) to a private sales event on Friday evening, November 4, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 PM. This will be a great opportunity to beat the rush and get the first opportunity on some great Lionel Product deals. If you have train friends who are not currently members of the LCCA, bring them along and have them join the club at the door Friday evening.
On Saturday and Sunday, the Warehouse sale will be open to the public. Stop by the LCCA display and talk trains.
Please make your plans now to attend this Special Event. This is a fun, family friendly event where you can also do your holiday season gift shopping. There will be several Lionel Train layouts featuring Lionel’s LionChief Plus engines. Come and experience the Magic of Lionel Trains! Let’s have some fun! Please spread the word!

And also absent is any tour of the LionScale assembly room. I guess one HAS to be an LCCA member to attend.

I seem to remember that when the warehouse sales were first started, they were open to the public right from the start.

I always plan to go to this sale but haven't made it yet; something else usually takes precedent. But it looks like I'm free this weekend so I'm going on Saturday....credit card in hand! Will I see any of you guys there?

Wishing the warehouse sale could be held at York starting in April now that the Orange hall will be open to the public. Would be better than selling tee shirts and ornaments in the Lionel booth.

Lionel warehouse sale is staffed by Lionel staff who live in. .. . NORTH CAROLINA! They take their days off, and work to bring you a sale. If they had to travel to York, PA. there would be no bargains to be found. And the dealers would rightfully howl if Lionel undercut them with the stuff that is in the warehouse sale. Seems like I saw a line to buy tee shirts and ornaments at the booth - I also saw a lot of empty racks and shelves by Friday morning.
