hi, i am new to the forum. and i am new to lionel rail sounds. i picked up a used lionel ATSF GP9 DIESEL "2925" CC 6-28502. it did not come with any instruction, and it does not come up on lionels website for owners manual. i am trying to run it in conventional mode as i do not have a command control system. so here is whats going on. when i turn on my transformer the rs starts up idles for a couple of seconds and shuts down. the engine run forward neutral reverse ok but with no sound. i checked the 9volt battery it was dead, i put in a new battery but no change. i tried the horn and it does not sound. any help would be very appreciated. thanks, gary
