Lionel RF-16 Sharknose Diesels Review

Nice review. I have a set of these in SP colors....just because....and since I got them they went back to Lionel for over a month for being defective out of the box and then a smoke fan motor failed which I since replaced.

I really like them since much of my layout is O36 Fastrack. I do have one question on the Kaydee couplers. Could you show what you did to install them and do they still allow O36 operations?

Hi Eric • Baldwin did a excellent job with this design. Glad they came to the Michigan Northern Railroad. Lionel brought all this RR history together, The Sharknose is very classic. As always a well done review. Thank-you, for sharing your philosophy on life and the hobby. Looks & sounds great on the layout. Like the Michigan Central boxcar.
