I'm looking for a Lionel Ready-to-Run steamer sound board to do an upgrade for someone that wants sounds for his starter set. He doesn't want to spend what the ERR RS board and installation would cost, so I'm looking for a cheaper alternative that still gets reasonable sounds.
I tried the TrainSounds board, but for some reason I could never get the reed switch to properly trigger the sounds, it had very odd behavior, but I've used the RTR RailSounds in a similar situation, so that's what I'm looking for.
