The way I see it, the smoke loader will be coming in the year 2020! They'll probably never make it-just my guess after waiting 3 or so years now.

I think it was announced in 2010. Same time as GE Hybrid if I remember. Saw it at York in the old Gold hall under the grandstand

 

 

I read that the GP-7 LionChief Plus Locos have been recalled.  Will they be sent back overseas for repair?  Do you know anything about this?

No, not true. The GP-7's are fine, it was the RS-3's that have issues.

There is a contractual conflict between the designer and Lionel. Until that gets resolved they can't release the product.
