I have a Lionel Chessie system U30C cab number 3312 that looks like it had a hard life. I found it at a train show and it needs allot of TLC. I believe this engine came out in 2002. The product number is 6-18292. Here is the product link:

First the bad news: The smoke unit will not come on, no fan, and no heat element. I suspect its the R2 board? The visors and the fire cracker antenna are missing and there is no box. The railings are loose on the front and rear grab irons and the paint has some nicks in it. the front foot board pivot is broken but it has enough friction fit between the parts that it stays on.

The good news is the sounds are great, It operates nicely. it has nice slow speed, all other features including the electrocouplers work fine. You may decide this locomotive would be a great parts donor?
