I received mine from Charles Ro last Monday.

We have ours in stock now..... Lionel shipped literally tons of stuff to their distributors recently and it's taken awhile for those folks to sort through it - one of ours received 40 pallets at one time - so things have been slow to get to the dealers.... The E8's for us have just shipped..... The really big guys get there stuff direct from Lionel so they get it first.....

I've had my L&N for a couple of weeks. Very nice.

Wow, Mr Muffins has a great offer!! I already have the L&N Version which is the one with the number board number in the Headlight!! Great Price, Fun to run Locomotive....Its a great Legacy Control, Featuring the Famous, Whistle/Steam Effect and Railsounds System and an engine that will probably run on 054 Curves......Go for It! Happy Railroading....

It runs o-48 on my layout without issue. Certainly can't beat Mr. Muffins price thats for sure!

Finally got mine today.

I got it to run around 045 curves without trouble, and the sound system is the most realistic of any I've got. 

Don't yet have legacy, so I stick to running with a transformer, but I have to run it with the throttle so high it sounds like it's racing.

I will say, though, I have better control at low speed than with my older engines.
