G'day Gents,
First up, my usual field of modelling is 1/48 aircraft, so I apologise in advance for, probably, silly questions and ignorance in matters railroading.
I have a passing interest (and great appreciation) of model railroading, thanks to my late father, who was a true fan, and I have some N-gauge stuff for "one day".
I also have a couple of the Japanese 1/50 model steam locos from Arii, as I believed these were all that was available in plastic, close to my usual scale of interest (plus my Dad built one, which I still have).
Then, just a couple of weeks ago, I discovered (and promptly bought) an example of the AHM/Rivarossi IHB 0-8-0, one of my favorite steam locos. What a beautiful kit! Especially for it's age. It's a shame that this line of kits didn't continue into other large engines (or even a better range of smaller ones).
It looks like it will really look the part as it is but, as all modellers tend to, I'd like to have some basic reference to go by as well. I have been very surprised that, despite my best google-ing efforts, there seem to be very few images of these locos available on line (I've found about 4 or 5, all in black & white).
I was wondering if anyone could suggest any other sources of photos?
Also, while it looks great (to me) externally, I thought that the cab may benefit from some added details and some relevant colours, so I was also wondering if there were any photos of the cab interior to have a look at and (maybe) a source of relevant detail parts that might be useful (gauges, valves etc)?
