LOTS CONVENTION UPDATE

You didn't go?  In was right in your backyard.

I didn't go so I don't have anything to report personally.  However, the people I talked to had a good time.  They said it was a typical convention, as expected.

My wife Peg and I hosted one of the stops on the Tuesday layout tour. We had a total of 90 people visit our Pine Valley hi-rail layout, our standard gauge layout, and view my collection. Our new family member, Penny the sheltie puppy was happy to greet everyone!

Chug....having seen your fabulous layout years ago, I know they were in for a real treat!

We were there on Saturday running two of the three layouts.  The NPOG modular layout was running as was Bill Parkinson's 4-track traveling layout.

Was there for a few days, saw some great layouts including Phil Klopps and the Hollyberry Farms standard gauge layout.

Oh yeah, how about this version of the Hellgate Bridge ?

Paula Smith did an outstanding job putting this convention together.  Layout tours were outstanding as was the entertainment at Saturdays banquet, a story teller telling the story of J. C. Lionel.  Toured several good automotive museums.
