The new MTH trucks are muti-piece structures and are much better detailed than their earlier ones. As mentioned above, the issue would be the wheelbase and if you can get spares from MTH. They're pretty stingy about certain spare parts.

 

The issue with the MTH trucks in a 2-rail context is they're too far out in order to accommodate the wider tread of hi-rail wheels. The work-around is to preciselydrill two new mounting holes and shave down the mounting plate for the trucks to mount further in on scale wheels. The catch is that the new trucks have brake shoes that are very close to the wheel tread (as they're supposed to be) and if the holes aren't perfect, the shoes will kiss the wheel treads and short on 2-rail track.
