I upgaded my base and cab2 to 1.6. I thought that it would give me access to the tender dog house and running lights control, but I don't get the menu buttons. I am loading the engine features through the sensor track. Has anyone got the menus to work, or do I have to wait for another Legacy upgrade to get the features?

Are you sure the doghouse lights are controllable?
It's supposed to be but I believe there is another update coming for that. I seem to recall either reading here or someone mentioning that to me.
It says in the manual that the tender marker lights and doghouse light will be controllable with a Legacy update coming soon. The date of the printed manual preceeds the 1.6 update, so I thought I was missing something. Another question, should the marker lights on the pilot and boiler be lit as well. Mine are not. I saw a YouTube video with them lit. I also can get the tender marker light control to work when I switch from steam to some other setting a back to steam in the info menus. However, when it runs over the sensor track it reverts back to not working. I think this thing is a lemon.
An update. The engine marker lights still do not work. However, i was able to edit the engine settings in LSU and I am now able to toggle the tender marker lights. The engine running over the ir track and the orange module were not setting up the lights correctly.
That is clearly an issue with the firmware on the Legacy board, that's where the LSU is getting it's configuration information. The only folks that can fix that are Lionel I would guess.
