Click Here to Order a Madison Hardware Shirt

Madison Hardware Clothing is back for another three week ordering period. New color on the logo and new base colors for the shirts. You can pick from a T-shirt, long sleeve, or hooded sweat shirt. We learned from the first run that if you wear a small or medium T-shirt that I would go one size up. The large and XL sizes seem to be about right. Ordering will stay open until Wednesday October 22nd, and these should ship right around the beginning of November. Below are some samples of what we have to offer this time. These are not all of the combinations, but base colors this time will be white, grey, or orange.

Thanks,

Derek

Our printer currently does not offer a shirt with a pocket. Will keep it in mind though if they ever do.

Keystone,

I'll see what I can do to close the old campaign out. You would not get charged for those unless there was a sudden surge and we sold 12 of them. That campaign is not actively being promoted anywhere, but I'll try to close it up just to tie up the loose ends.

I was checking the size chart, and I was left a little uncertain.  I ordered a T-shirt in large and it fit me just fine.  I notice, however, that the T-shirts and hoodies are sized differently now (maybe they were too the last time, but I wasn't looking at hoodies).   The T-shirt large chest is 22, and the hoodie large chest is 24.  I'm a little confused too because I have always seen chest sizes as circumferences.  If the large T-shirt fit me well what size hoodie should I order.

Also, I want to complement you for the cut on the shirt.  Since so many Americans are fat, and I'm not, it is hard to buy a shirt that isn't cut like a big box tent.  I appreciate the height-weight proportionate cut.

Thanks,

Alan

I would echo the same comment.  I've never seen men's sizes like this, rather the circumference measurement is much more standard and common.  I typically order XL t-shirts, sweatshirts, and sport/suit-jackets.  And I run between 46L-48L, depending on the cut.

I'd like to order the long-sleeve shirt (without the hoodie) in orange w/blue lettering.

Thanks for any clarification you can provide.

David

Sorry I missed this until now! I'm not very knowledgeable about clothing sizes to be very honest with everyone, so I'm going to give you the feedback that I'm hearing. The t-shirts seem to run a bit smaller than most normal  off the rack shirts. I believe this is because we have gone with a higher grade shirt than just the normal Hanes, etc. So if in doubt I would order a size larger on the T- shirts. The sweatshirts seem to follow traditional cuts as they are a Gliden product. I believe these run a bit larger and so should have more room than the t-shirts. The sizing chart that TeeSpring provides seems to support this. Hope this provides a bit of insight from my end. If in doubt please contact Teespring By Clicking HERE They should be able to answer specific sizing questions.

And with that note, one week down and two weeks to go!

Sweatshirts (ie Hoodies) are sized a little larger as they're designed to be worn over other clothing.

Can't you make a long sleeve (for winter) and short sleeve (for summer) that looks like this...

We could, but it's a path that both Lionel and I agree we don't wish to partner in at this moment. I do have a new design on the drawing board for this Fall that I actually like the most of anything we have put out so far. Expect to see something sometime in September.

I second Brian's request!  I did buy a long sleeve tee shirt, but prefer the oxford shirt Brian mentioned.  I even wear them working outdoors unless it is really hot out.

Mark and Brian,

I think after the venture into Polo's that is it for the embroidered logo. The original t-shirts and sweatshirts did significantly better than the Polos did. I like the embroidered logo myself and ordered a few Polos for myself. That being said runs of 20 shirts just are not worth the setup of the embroidered logo. Hate to say it, but that's just the reality of it. Thanks as always for the encouragement and support guys.

Derek, could you share what number makes sense for you to produce a run of shirts. I spent a lot of my professional career in sales and I like the logo a lot, so I would go out of my way to promote it.

You might also want to think of doing something for the OGR Forum family with a shirt for them. Just an idea for you.

I would certainly buy an OGR Forum shirt!

I'm interested in Madison Hardware and have bought a few shirts (though not the current one). I think I'm sated with Madison Hardware stuff at present, although I will likely buy the book when you finish it.

I'm eager to see what else you have up your sleeve, but probably would not buy any more Madison Hardware stuff (other than the book) at present.  Not trying to be a wet blanket, just expressing that I'm "Madison Hardwared out" at present.  If there's enough interest in a Madison Hardware sport shirt, by all means proceed .

I completely get that. That's why we're going to wait until September on the new shirts. Give folks some time to wear out the old ones. I figure after this book is done I'll be Madisoned out for at least the next decade.

Did Mrs. B. Tell you Mark's been wearing his long sleeve Madison around the house when she has the air conditioning cranked up?  ;-)
