Folks,

I thought that I had already posted this but I don't see it so I'll try again.

I bought a wireless color mini camera at York last year.  I have the wireless camera receiver connected to a SMART TV And it works great.  What I would like to be able to do now is to record the camera video/audio so I can either put it on a DVD or post to Youtube.

I have little to no knowledge when it comes to doing something like this.  I was hoping to get some suggestions about how to record the video from the camera.

I also am looking for software that is both cheap and easy to use to create a video using multiple audio/ video clips.  This will be for my drive-in movie scene.

Thanks for any help you can offer,

Ed

You will need to get a DVD recorder for your TV I would Imagine. Then you record the video like we all use to with a VCR back in the day. Then you will need to put the video on a computer to upload it to Youtube. You have to watch, because sometimes the DVD will "close" and will not allow you to extract the video. You can get software for this, which I have done before and it will extract the vide from the DVD.

I would also look into maybe recording it to your laptop, which may save a couple steps. You will need an HDMI or RCA cables to hook to your video out on your TV.

I recommend doing a google search to directly do this.

This probably will a lot of people are using GoPro cameras to video their layout. They are expensive but safe time for doing this. I have seen some people build cars to mount the GoPro to, so it can give you the train cab experience.
