That other magazine (October Issue) has a nice 4 page article on Junior Bridge Co. Some of their products are often confused with Marx or Lionel. Also, Focus on Classics is about the Marx 333.

came in the mail yesterday, I'll check it out.
I have seen several of two types of the Junior bridges, 101L, 102L and and the tunnel.... did not know what they were (Thanks! to that article), now do, although they were not on my radar. I do not remember seeing them in stores. Have not seen, I don't think, the signal bridge, described as most common. Marx fans can chuckle that Lionel eventually sold one of its competitors' products, the #333.
Wasn't there some one that posted here a while back that they were going to produce the Junior bridges again ? If so I wonder what has happened with this project ? Does any one have a update?
Or was it just another day were there was something in my soup that should not have been ?

Not sure the current status, but they were going to upsize the Junior bridges to Std Gauge.

Hi All,
(Raising hand) It was me making the Junior Bridge reproductions www.juniorbridge.net The plan is to do them for Standard Gauge first. I already have 3 prototypes ready and have have displayed the, the 101L, 102L and the 201L. I plan on doing the suspension bridge next.
The plan was to have production by October this year but on January 1st I acquired hobbytown of Boston, www.hobbytownofboston.com just as the tooling was about to be released for scrap that week. I've had my hands full with restarting that and put the Junior Bridge project on hold until the fall.
As I said, on hold, not dead.

I have a couple of those contactors but never knew what they were. Learn something new every day.
I think they're a cool design, and not another one of those, lol. The bar stock is enough to make the bridges unique, the signal bridge triangular shape too. Though I admit more color in the graphics of the silver tunnel would be nice, Im a graphics snob. I like the other one. The signal on the tunnel? Bonus points!
Im curious about the contactors too. Graphite block? or two?
Hopefully I'll have a few pennies to rub by the time you settle down the HO and Standard fans. I do like what I see.
Is Nick (old bus) making Junior Bridge items?
(see his post above)
