Bruce, Ralph always liked colorful lights, so the day after Christmas 5 years ago I bought a fake tabletop tree for him. I replaced the white bulbs with colored ones, strung together treats (he isn't big on popcorn) and hung small, colorful ornaments on it. Now, every year, no matter where he is, when he hears me take the garbage bag containing his tree out of the closet, he's waiting in the living room, and proceeds to shred the bag before I get it to the fireplace. He sleeps beside it, has to have the lights on PRECISELY at dusk, and cries when I put it away ... March first.

I was just lucky getting a good picture of him. As with most cats, you can get him to do whatever he wants to do, even though he's a real ham when the camera comes out or we have company. He'll be at his best this weekend, his pal, Locolawyer, is coming tomorrow to visit for a few days.
