The Metropolitan Division ( METCA) is happy to announce that we have formed a partnership with the Somerset County 4H Trainmasters to operate as our Kids club. After months of meeting and discussing any concerns that arose we found that both of our organizations have pretty much the same goals. The goal of increasing the number size and youth participation in our great hobby and promoting fellowship and friendship through collecting and operating model trains. The club is primarily run by the youth. The adult leadership provides the guidance. This incredible group has mastered in our opinion of what a kids club in our hobby should be. The kids built and operate an 40 x 60 modular layout under the supervision of the adult leadership. We are very proud of this historic partnership with 4H.
