Actually the secret is to use HO...
Its the same height of O and if you split it in two as instructed run a third strip down the center it looks exactly the same, and is the same width.
At half the cost!

Seriously??? I'm going to have to try that one.
Yep, just make sure you use the bevel slope on the outsides and flip the center one over so the bevel does not show... glue them side by side and they are the same height and width...
your wallet will thank you and you can find it anywhere...

I have at least one full box I can part with.

I used HO cork roadbed on my sidings and spur tracks. Works great under switches, one outside strip of HO cork along the straight side of the switch and one strip of HO cork along the curve of the switch and the middle strip also along the curve of the switch. Cut the HO strips to fill in under the remainder of the switch.
I understand you can use 2 full strips of HO cork side by side for standard gauge track.
